Take a break whenever you need to

We have options, choose the one that's right for you

Take a 24 hour break

You can always take a break from playing on alc.ca. A 24 hour break allows you to take some time away from gambling. This short break will prevent you from purchasing and depositing for 24 hours. Any ticket purchases or proline wagers you have already made will play out as scheduled, you just can't make new purchases on any games.

The 24 hour break button is available on all wager screens and the My Account dropdown on alc.ca.

Take a longer break

Sometimes you may need to take a longer break. Choosing self-exclusion may be the right option for you.  Self-Exclusion allows you to take a break from playing for 6, 12, 24 or 36 months. Once you have decided on your break you can take the time you need away from gambling. You won't be able to sign in, purchase or enter tickets on 2Chance during your chosen period.
