DAN CAMPBELL
Dan was appointed Chair of Atlantic Lottery’s board of directors in June 2025 and also served as a member of the board of directors from June 2014 to August 2023. He has previously held roles with both the provincial and federal governments. While with the Government of Prince Edward Island, Dan was the Clerk of Executive Council and Secretary to Cabinet, and prior to that was the Deputy Minister of Finance and the Secretary to Treasury Board. While with the federal government, Dan worked within the Enterprise Development group of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency in Charlottetown. He has also worked with Export Development Canada in Ottawa in a variety of roles over an 11-year period. Dan has been the CEO of the Workers Compensation Board of Prince Edward Island since September 2023.
Dan holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of Prince Edward Island, a master of business administration from Dalhousie University and obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2001. Dan lives in Charlottetown with his wife and two daughters.

Travis Bergin is the Deputy Minister of the New Brunswick Government Reform and Modernization. He leads the daily operations and oversight of the department, while supporting the Executive Branch of government in decision-making, policy and strategic direction in areas including human resources, finances, risk, technology and information.
He is the Secretary to the Treasury Board Cabinet Committee, Chair of the Board for the national Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, Vice-Chair of the Board for the Atlantic Lottery Corporation and the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corporation, and a board member with Ski Crabbe Mountain Incorporated, Cannabis New Brunswick, the New Brunswick Highway Corporation and the Make-A-Wish NB Chapter Advisory Board. He previously served as board member with the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (Fredericton) and the University of New Brunswick Alumni Council.
Travis earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering degrees from the University of New Brunswick, as well as a Diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship.

Doug Trask is the Assistant Deputy Minister (Economics, Fiscal and Statistics) with the Department of Finance, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. He is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland with a B.A. Honours degree in Economics and the University of Guelph with a Masters degree in Economics. Mr. Trask has over 35 years work experience as a policy advisor to both the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Government of Canada, in areas specific to tax and fiscal policy, economic development, R&D and innovation. He has significant expertise in economic research, financial analysis, program development and delivery, and the identification of business opportunities. Previous positions include: Assistant Deputy Minister, Royalties and Benefits with the Department of Natural Resources, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador; Vice-President responsible for Strategy, Program Development and Delivery with the Research & Development Corporation; Senior Economic Analyst (Major Projects) with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and; Senior Economist with the Advisory Council on the Economy.

Thomas Williams K.C. Tom was appointed to the Atlantic Lottery board of directors in June of 2026. Tom is the Senior Partner at the law firm of O’Dea, Earle Law Offices in St. John’s , NL, where he maintains a practice in civil litigation, personal injury and corporate commercial law. Tom is a graduate of both Memorial University and the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law. He has received a number of academic and professional distinctions including the UNB Faculty of Law Ilsa Greenblant-Shore Distinguished Graduate Award and was appointed a Kings Counsel in 2006. Tom brings extensive governance experience having served in executive roles on both province health care and education boards, as well as prominent not-for-profit organizations such as Stella Burry Community Services Board and Foundation. Most recently, he completed a nine year tenure, including the final four years as Chair of the Board, of the St. John’s International Airport Authority, where he garnered considerable experience in both the governance and financial oversight. Tom is also a director and shareholder of several privately held real estate holding companies.

The Hon. Darin King, PhD, ICD.D, E.C.N.L., is an experienced executive, governance professional, and former Cabinet Minister with a distinguished career spanning government, education, labour relations, and economic development.
Darin served in several senior roles with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, including Government House Leader, Minister of Education, Human Resources, Labour and Employment, Fisheries, and Justice and Public Safety. He also served as CEO and Director of Education for Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest school district and later as Executive Director of Trades NL, representing Newfoundland and Labrador’s unionized construction industry.
He has worked closely with industry, labour, government, and major project proponents to advance workforce development, labour relations, and economic growth initiatives, and under his leadership Trades NL received two national awards - one for its leadership on the advancement and development of Local Benefit Agreements, and the second for leadership on Indigenous Skilled Trades, including opening the first-ever Provincial Office in NL.
He has extensive experience in governance, strategic planning, public policy, stakeholder relations, human resources, and organizational leadership, having served on numerous provincial and national boards and advisory bodies focused on economic development, infrastructure, workforce planning, apprenticeship, resource development, construction safety, and clean energy.
Darin holds a PhD in Business (Human Resources), a Master of Education (Leadership), and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Annie is a highly qualified leader whose expertise is focused primarily on business development, business process improvement, organizational efficiency and staff management. She is known for her pragmatic leadership, consultative approach, results-based management and passion for customer service, as well as her exemplary engagement and infectious energy. Annie holds an MBA from Université de Moncton and has always worked in finance. She started her career as a teller at Caisse populaire de Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes before becoming a business advisor at Caisse populaire de Saint-Quentin. She left the cooperative world to work at the Bank of Montreal but came back in 2005, working as an assistant manager at the Caisse populaire de Grand-Sault until 2010. She later served as general manager of the Caisse populaire de Bathurst for more than four years. Rising through the UNI ranks, she became assistant vice-president, Customer Service and Continuous Improvement in 2015. During the last years of this mandate, she played a critical role on our financial cooperative’s transformation team. In July 2023, she was promoted to vice-president, Banking Services Optimization and since May 2025, she has held the position of chief operating officer. Since entering the workforce, Annie Cyr has volunteered with various community organizations, including as a member of the Board of Directors of District scolaire francophone du Nord-Ouest, secretary of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation for more than 7 years and treasurer of Nepisiguit Family Services for more than 12 years. In her spare time, Annie has a passion for golf, cooking and travelling.

Lisa Merrithew is a trusted executive advisor and corporate director with deep experience in complex, competitive and regulated environments. She is recognized for her expertise in reputation management, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, building brands, defining purpose, navigating change, and balancing customer, community and stakeholder expectations. As a former executive with large publicly traded companies in both the telecommunications and energy sectors, she deeply understands the importance of strategic communications, corporate governance, risk management, issues management and stakeholder relations.
She joined the Board of Medavie in 2025 and currently serves on the Governance & Human Resources Committee, and she is also a member of the Medavie Foundation Board.
Lisa earned her ICD.d designation from the ICD-Rotman Director’s Education Program at the University of Toronto in 2025. She also holds her Executive Coaching Certificate from Rotman, a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and a BA from University of King’s College.

Brad Conrad began his career in the gambling industry in 2007 and has held various senior leadership positions including Operations, Strategic Planning, Corporate Social responsibility, Communications, Risk Management and Compliance. Brad is currently the Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Gaming Division where he contributes to the effective management of the regulated gaming industry on behalf of all Nova Scotians. Through leadership and operational excellence, Brad is responsible for the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation (NSGC) and overseeing Nova Scotia’s two gaming operators, Atlantic Lottery Corporation and Casino Nova Scotia who carry out the day-to-day activities in the province. Over the past two decades, Brad has worked in a broad range of industries, including exporting value-add products, biotechnology and consumer-packaged goods.

Chris Lydon President of m5 Public Affairs, Chris joined the firm in 2017 and brings over 20 years of experience both inside and outside of multiple levels of Government. An expert at building and maintaining strong relationships and in translating the language of industry to that of Government, and vice-versa, Chris honed his interest in public affairs and the motivations of populations and political decision-makers through his years in the Office of Nova Scotia’s Premier.
As a consultant he has worked previously in the private sector, representing some of the largest employers in Atlantic Canada including those in the gaming, technology, government, health, financial, legal, Indigenous and non-profit sectors. A former AL’r, he served as lead in-house counsel on government and stakeholder relations to Atlantic Lottery, playing a significant strategic role in increasing both corporate reputation and social license.
More recently, Chris spent the better part of two years in Ottawa as Chief of Staff to the federal departments of Labour and Status of Women Canada, an extended stint in the Regional Emergency Operations Centre leading the on-the-ground crisis communications and coordinated response of Canada’s insurance industry to the Fort McMurray wildfire and, just prior to his arrival at m5, he served as the Campaign Director for the successful re-election of the Mayor of Halifax, whose landslide campaign he again Chaired in 2020.
A graduate of Dalhousie, he is a co-winner of a 2017 IABC (International) Gold Quill Excellence Award and 2017 IABC (Canada) Silver Leaf Award of Excellence for his on-the-groundwork in Fort Mac., the past-Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters, serves on multiple non-profit boards, is a CBC Nova Scotia Radio and Television pundit, the voice of the Halifax Wanderers and USPORTS Final 8, and received a Papal knighthood in 2013. He and his family call Halifax home.

Appointed to the Atlantic Lottery Corporation Board in December 2024, Greg Chiasson brings over 25 years of experience in the personal wealth industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Francis Xavier University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Recently retired as Market Leader for BMO Private Wealth in Nova Scotia, Greg oversaw daily operations in personal investment management, private banking, and estates and trusts. His responsibilities included ensuring compliance with banking regulations, driving business development, and addressing governance matters.
An active contributor to his community, Greg currently serves on his condominium corporation board and is a former member of the Sacred Heart School of Halifax Board. He resides in Halifax with his teenage daughter.

Shaun MacIsaac is a CPA, CA and BBA graduate from the University of Prince Edward Island. Shaun is the founding partner and was managing partner of the MRSB group of companies, a PEI based group that provides accounting, auditing, advisory, taxation consulting and merger and acquisition services. Shaun is now retired as an active partner with the group.Shaun continues to be involved in consulting, property management and development and rentals and self-storage and construction facilities. He is active in the community as a volunteer having served as past chair of several Boards and Associations including the Charlottetown Airport Authority, Holland College Foundation, Downtown Charlottetown Inc., Atlantic Standard Breeders Association and the Catholic Family Services. Shaun and his wife Heather reside in Charlottetown and Rustico. They have 5 sons and 4 grandchildren.

Alana has held progressively senior leadership roles including Senior Director, Finance with Maximus Canada and leadership positions with Deltaware Systems, where she was responsible for financial management, human resources, corporate services, and organizational planning. She is recognized for her financial stewardship, governance expertise, and ability to support executive decision-making and operational performance.
Alana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island and earned her CPA designation through the Certified Management Accountant program. She is actively involved in her community through youth sports leadership and volunteer roles with the North River Minor Hockey Association and related programs. She lives in Cornwall with her husband and their two children.
